Description: Programming/Biostatistics Manager is a supervisory and management position governing functions of the programming/Biostatistician staff within the Department of Biostatistics. They are responsible for hiring, training, mentoring and resourcing staff. They track project timelines, budgets, and resource needs across Biostatistics and effectively communicate priorities and work direction to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget. They also assist Biostatistics with developing tools and techniques for improving process efficiencies.

They also contribute directly to the company's revenue by contributing to milestone deliverables for Biostatistics.

A Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, biology or other health related field or equivalent experience that provides the skills and knowledge is necessary to perform the job.  Relevant experience in a clinical trials environment or similar field plus experience with SAS Programming is a must too. The candidate must also have supervisory experience to be able to manage and develop staff and their career objectives including the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
