Lead Process Engineer - Philippines
Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator is looking to recruit a Lead Proecess Engineer for a long term project role based in the Philippines.
The role will involve :
Identify facility improvement projects:
-Production increase and de-bottleneck opportunities
-Provide Process Engineering support to operations and maintenance
-Provide Process Engineering support to development and project teams
-Provide local Process Engineering Technical Authority
-Safeguard technical integrity for assigned assets based on Company and international standards.
-Custodian of Operating Envelope for assigned assets
-Mentor graduate discipline staff
-Identifies and analyses production optimization opportunities and drives the implementation of the cost effective solutions.
-Participates in review of any expansion tie-in projects on existing facilities to ensure concepts are rigorously challenged and technical integrity maintained.
-Review technical aspect of process and system related Management of Change and support execution.
-Promotes innovative process and environmental technology with business applications.
-Ensure environmental standards and legislations are met in the design/operations undertaken.
-Foster and maintain discipline relationships within the region and with Global Technical Partners
-Holds responsibilities as Technical Authorityfor Process Engineering & Technology"
-Process Engineering team is part of the Operations team. The team comprises of 1 other process engineer supporting Operations and Maintenance & Engineering departments
Responsibilities:
-Provide process engineering support for Operations, Asset Development Team, Service Providers, contractors, design consultants and brown-field front end studies.
-Provide process engineering input for assigned regional support.
The incumbent will be based in Manila. Visits to Miri and KL, Malaysia is envisaged to build good working relationship with regional process engineering team.
he incumbent will perform multiple roles providing process engineering input into various projects as well as supporting frontline operations and front-end engineering, he/she will have to be able to strike a balance between managing own work and supporting others. He/she likewise be interfacing with project and discipline engineers. Being a good team player is thus key to the success of his/her work and that of process engineering team.
The successful candidate will have :
-Recognised degree in chemical engineering with membership of professional engineering body (
-Minimum 10 years process engineering experience in E&P oil and gas (preferably in design, commissioning and operations support).
