Deputy Controller

Country Finance

Level: Vice President (U)

Principal Responsibilities
-Review all local central bank filings for accuracy and completeness
-Bridge the knowledge gap between the Controller and the local regulatory report productions team
-Engage business units and operations proactively to assess reporting concerns
-Manage new regulatory process (ICAAP Reporting) for the Philippines
-Identify and address any issues related to GAAP reporting
-Document efficient processes to manage staff turn-over in the organization
-End-to-end review of the FRO process in supporting the country
-Identify areas of automation
-Review implementation of new systems and U.S Statutory reporting

Qualifications
-CPA with 10++ years of experience within the Finance organization
-Solid understanding of the Financial systems (FDL, SMART, etc.)
-Business related education with programming background would be an asset
-Strong working knowledge and experience with Excel pivot tables as well as strong skills in PC software applications and presentation tools
-Ability to analyze problems, design solutions and implement them for assigned projects
-Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
-Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment
-Clear, timely, and concise communication skills
-Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
-Strong relationship management skills with wide range of audience with different focus
