[Full-time] Senior Credit Analyst at Dencom Consultancy & Manpower Services

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage credit and financial analysis and reviews. Monitor the credit performance of existing customers & make financially sound credit decisions in compliance with existing corporate policies and turnaround times
- Diligently manage risk exposure
- Assign credit line and make credit recommendations in accordance with established corporate credit policies and procedures;
- Proactively review requests and decisions making recommendations to any change required to individual items or overall policy
- Manage customer credit related enquiries within guidelines
- Approve campaign requests submitted by Client Sales in accordance with policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain positive relationships and open communication with all departments in the Client/Sales workflow process;
- Maintain complete, accurate and efficient customer credit files;
- Ensure customer Credit Lines are reduced to 0 in cases of bankruptcy, liquidation, or write-offs;
- Act as main point of contact for all Credit queries;
- Client interaction – calls, emails, meetings & sales interaction
- Monitor & Review COS approval queue to provide approval or denial or recommendations of Campaign requests in accordance with established corporate credit policies and procedures;
- Maintain credit control timelines within established SLA’s./KPI’s
- Continual review of the training material provided by the client providing feedback on any improvements, recommendations in any of the policies/procedures.
- Reporting – daily & Adhoc required both internally and externally
- Relationship Management - developing and maintaining proactive working relationships with the Client & Sales teams

Senior Specific Duties:
- Manage high value financial analysis and review including reading and interpreting financial statements, ratio analysis, and cash flow statements etc.
- Recommend and initially approve credit lines for junior staff.
- New Starter Set up – Manage new starter set up to completion , TL final sign off
- Quality checks for the credit team & collections admins.
- Highlight any people management issues to the TL and assist in addressing these issues when appropriate
- Report Co-ordination
- SLA/KPI review –Monitoring and understanding ensuring the team are driving towards optimum results.
- Manage escalations
- Client & Sales interaction – conference calls participation, on-line docs/preparation
- Training and coaching
- Default volunteer
- Attend meetings in the absence of TL, TL back-up
- Arrange & Chair team meetings when required
- Interviewing/Shadowing
- Audits & Compliance participation
- Policies & Procedures – best practice within the Credit team. Quarterly review of processes within the Credit team, ensure training is aligned to the teams requirements. Feedback should be gathered and delivered to the TL’s & L&D Team.
- Gap/Improvement review and recommendations

Skills and Experience:
- Degree in accounting or financial related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in high value financial analysis in a b2b environment. Previous DLA of €1m+ a distinct advantage
- Previous experience in a collections role desirable
- A keen interest in people management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised and efficient.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.
- Excellent computer skills.
