Team Leader, Administration

Established for over sixteen years Entel is an independent UK based Corporate International Group which has firmly established itself as a prominent global player in the radio communications industry. Entel operates its own design and manufacturing divisions, with distribution centres throughout the world and its own manufacturing facilities in Korea and Philippines.

Due to rapid expansion and success, the Group has created this new position to assist in the development and growth of the Administration team to further expand the distribution of Entel’s own brand of technologically advanced products. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years previous supervisory experience, be detail orientated, an effective communicator, commercially astute and want to be part of a successful team in a professional company.

Job purpose

To manage the day to day running of the Administration Team and ensure orders are processed effectively and efficiently and all that entails.

Key duties and responsibilities

·         Order processing – managing the process as well as ‘hands on’ processing oforders to ensure orders are processed accurately.

·         Supervise and manage the performance and quality of work of the team.

·         Ensure accuracy of invoicing.

·         Understand Repairs function – ensure customer service, technical and warranty issues are resolved appropriately.

·         Liaise with external contacts regarding certification requirements.

·         Hold weekly team meetings to ensure objectives are being met.

·         Provide weekly and monthly reportingas required.

Key requirements and qualities

·         Proven people management skills - You will be confident in supervising a team where accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness are all critical. You will enjoy the challenge this presents and be confident in your ability to motivate, supervise, quality check and support your team in its daily activities.

·         Able to fully understanding the stages of the sales process.

·         Excellent administration, IT skills and strong communication skills (verbal and written).

·         Conscientious, attentive to detail, customer focused, able to prioritise workloads.

·         Ability to identify, analyse, prioritise and resolve problems.
Take responsibility for completing tasks against timescales to meet internal and clients’ business needs.

·         Ability to coach, mentor and inspire the Administration team towards fulfilling their potential.

·         Show initiative and able to work with minimum supervision.

·         Numerate, logical and analytical.

·         Good planning and organisational skills.
