EDITING INTERNSHIP
Bigfoot Studios with offices in Los Angeles is now hiring EDITING INTERNS to work out of our state-of-the-art production studios in the tropical paradise of CEBU, PHILIPPINES. You will be involved a multitude of productions, editing everything from TV clips, reality, to commercials, music video, and film. You will be part of the post-production department and also work with the ins and outs of workflow and support in a large... View Full Description production house. You will be working under an experienced Hollywood editor and a Hollywood post-production coordinator who will guide and mentor you to further develop your skills. We have all kinds of equipment at our studio from 35mm cameras to RED and other digital formats and everything from picture edit, color correction to ADR, Foley, and final mix. We have soundstages and an underwater shooting tank. This is your chance to grow and step into the film industry and learn from the pros. In addition, if you excel in your internship there are opportunities for you to work on our productions after your internship.
REQUIREMENTS
You need to provide your own round trip ticket from your location to Cebu, Philippines.
You need a valid passport.
You need to bring own laptop (for emails and other company business, not for editing).
Experience in Final Cut
Proficient in apple hardware and software troubleshooting is a plus.
Experience in After Effects is a plus
You need to have a showreel or clips of your previous editing work.
ADVANTAGE, BUT NOT A REQUIREMENT THAT YOU ALSO HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING FIELDS:
Well versed with long and short form post workflows in Final Cut Studio.
Mac OS and FCP system wizard.
Previous Broadcast post experience preferred.
