Job Description
• Knowledge of the use, operations, and repairs of the flexo printing machines
• Excellent artwork layout, color scheme and designing skills
• High emphasis on maintaining quality and accuracy in work
• Strong error detection and problem solving skills
• Ability to interact and communicate with seniors and clients
• Operate the flexo printing machinery and set up its configuration as per the client's specifications
• Move the levers and make adjustments carefully to prevent smearing or overlapping of printed colors
• Inspect the printed materials for any defects, misprinting, blur or off-center printing, smearing of colors. Change the settings of the printer to remove those defects.
• Clean, oil and repair the equipments to maintain its efficiency using the cleaning solvents, grease etc
• Operate the flexo press machinery, make adjustments, repair and clean them as per the requirements
• Adjust the position, speed, distance of the printing plates as required
• Ensure the printed materials confer the quality standards and client's specifications
• Operate the laminator attached printing press to laminate the printed materials
• Cut, fold and reshape the materials, before or after printing to give the desired look
• Prepare reports for work completed, raw materials used up and wastages etc
