Project Lead

Engagement Overview:

Oxford is part of United Healthcare organization which offers HMO, PPO, POS, EPO plans to large & midsized employers in the north east region of the United States. Besides servicing the employer segment, it also offers Medicare and Medicaid plans in tie with federal and state departments for senior citizens and low income groups.

Job Responsibilities:

- We are currently looking for dedicated professionals to fulfill the following job responsibilities in the above application for production support & maintenance (Solution, Support & Services – SSS team) at GSD, Manila location.
- Leading a production support team of 4 - 6 resources
- Close coordination with onshore team and business stakeholders on issues and resolution
- Provide support on planning, estimation, monitoring & tracking of day to day tasks and activities to the stakeholders
- Provide functional, technical and process expertise to the team
- Provide L2 & L3 support in a dynamic production support environment
- Adherence to all production support - service operation & transition processes like Problem Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Release & Deployment Management
- Use of HPSM tool for day to day service operation tasks
- Analyzing issues, provide root cause analysis, work around & resolution related to Application Support tasks
- Participate in war rooms and on-call support
- Ensure audit compliance with organization and project defined standards
- Support production deployment, deployment and back-out plans & checkouts
- Self starter and initiator to get things done from the team
- Provide timely updates on risks, issues and escalations along with an action plan to the stakeholders, status reporting, monthly & weekly reports, appraisals
- Identify and propose application performance & process improvement initiatives

Desired Skills:

- 6-9 years experience in enterprise application development
- Must have managed a team size of 4 – 6 people in the past (Required)
- Must have 4-6 years of experience working on Oracle Forms / Reports (Required)
- Must have 4-6 years of experience working within PL/SQL with strong SQL knowledge on Oracle platform (Required)
- Must have 4+ years of experience working on UNIX platform / KORN shell scripting (Required)
- 2-4 years of working on stored procedures & PVCS environment (Should Have)
- Basic knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlets, XML, XSL on Websphere Application Server will be helpful
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, analytical and debugging skills
- Experience in production support environment using ITIL / ITSM methodologies is preferable
- Experience in health care domain would be an added advantage
