Our client is currently looking for a Lead Instrumentation Engineer for a Refinery Project in Philippines

Expected date of mobilization: ASAP
Term of Employment: Minimum 1 year on contract basis.
Minimum year of experience: approx.15 years

MAJOR DUTIES:
1) Able to perform LE work together with other around eight instrument engineers. Be a specialist in Control System design and engg. Prepare/review Req, Spec and perform Tech Bid Analysis for Control System.
2) Able to monitor other Instrumentation engg works. Also able to monitor team progress and take lead to catch-up incase of engg delay.
3) Coordinate and get final documents from System Vendors
4) Prepare Control Narratives and other system documents
5) Review and confirm Cause & Effect table and Alarm & Trip setting values.
6) Participate and comment during HAZOP and SIL review meeting.
7) Take lead position to coordinate with system vendor and develop solution.
8) Perform site check with system vendor to define scope of work.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
1) Knowledge in General Instrumentation engg (in addition to Control System knowledge) is an advantage.
2) Good communication and inter-disciplinary skill is also an advantage.

Graduate engineer from an accredited university/institution with a minimum of 12 years experience, including two (2) years in the Middle East, in the design of Instrumentation and control systems for electrical distribution networks and sub stations for large scale industrial development and infrastructure projects, petrochemical, material handling facilities, systems, utilities, LV, SCADA, RTU, DCS, fiber optic networking, etc.
