We are working on assignment for a major international construction group who have extensive operations across the Middle East and Asia. Their portfolio of projects is vast and covers civil engineering and infrastructure, construction, industrial, petrochemical, mining, power and alternative energy.

They have recently been awarded the construction of a coal fired power station project near Davao City in the Philippines, with project construction starting July 2012. The project will consist of both civil and structural components as well as a new build marine jetty, with a project value of circa US$130 million.

Our client is now looking for an experienced Marine Construction Superintendent to start as soon as possible on the project. Key areas will be both management of the design and management of the marine works, which include marine piling, wharfs, jetties, offshore steel structures.

The project is not remote, but is not considered suitable for family status and would suit someone who is able to work on a single status. The role is residential and not rotational, so comes with a salary of circa US$120-130k per annum a house, car, flights, medical etc. Our client is also able to offer long term career prospects within the Asia region.
