QUALIFICATIONS: - Masters’ degree or its equivalent in social sciences or related disciplines - At least five (5) years of relevant experience in conducting research, conceptualizing and implementing projects around women’s human rights, gender justice, and “access to justice,” especially in relation to rural, indigenous communities of women - Good grasp and understanding of regional, national and sub-national contexts of women’s human rights and access to justice, including plural legal systems - Familiarity with CEDAW and other international instruments, norms and standards concerning women’s human rights and access to justice - Familiarity of working with a wide range of stakeholders, government and civil society - Solid research and analytical skills; skills in facilitation and mediation are an advantage - Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English
