Chemonics seeks a chief of party for the anticipated USAID Public Financial Management project in the Philippines. The project will support tax administration, tax enforcement, and public financial management. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities include:

Provide expert guidance to the government of the Philippines in addressing public spending challengesProvide overall strategic vision and project leadership, management, and technical directionSupervise a diverse team of technical experts Coordinate with USAID, Chemonics, and implementing partners Direct work planning and performance management

Job Requirements Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in economics, public policy, public finance, or related field preferredMinimum five years of experience in public financial management; tax legislation and enforcement; tax policy and administration; tax/fiscal policy reform; or other relevant sector Minimum three years chief of party of experience on complex donor-funded projects Ability to manage multiple project components, multifunctional teams, international personnel, government relationships, and client satisfaction USAID experience required Work experience in the Philippines or Southeast Asia strongly preferredDemonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrityFluent English required; fluent Tagalog preferred
