ADB seeks Information Technology Professionals

The Asian Development Bank's Office of Information Systems Technology (OIST) is responsible for planning and managing automated information systems and telecommunications services of the Bank to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank's operational, financial, and administrative functions.

OIST seeks 3 Information Technology professionals to meet ADB's requirements for the following areas:

Quality Assurance:

Ensures that IT Quality Assurance requirements and testing methodology are consolidated and standardized. Implements and maintains tools for IT processes such as SDLC tools and service management tools. Institutes and maintains an effective quality assurance communication program. Provides expert guidance in the fields of Product, Process, and Service Quality Assurance. Manages and oversees the IT process quality management (including those related to the internal control framework) and Quality Assurance of ADB's IT systems.

Solution Architecture:

Designs cost-effective technical solution in terms of utilizing the available technical options and meeting other technical requirements. Provides technical and business domain leadership throughout solution development, deployment, and maintenance and support. Analyzes existing technology infrastructure and assesses its ability to support strategic objectives of the business. Provides leadership role in the technical innovation in application development and support, derives plans to utilize appropriate techniques and technologies to improve overall productivity.

Validation and Quality Control:

Develops and enforces good quality assurance best practices and validates quality processes by establishing performance metrics and writing and updating quality assurance procedures. Responsible for documenting, standardizing and managing quality planning, assurance and control including a structured testing framework across all IT applications. Develops quality assurance plans, by conducting hazard (risk) analysis, identifying critical control points and preventive measures, and establishing monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
